What do babies and puppies have in common?
With not a thought about tomorrow’s worries, stresses, or heartache; babies and puppies live in the moment.
Never mind both being unable to talk, if they are miserable you know about it.
So, too, there’s no mistaking the message of faces aglow with pure joy, or the slumber of the content.
Which brings me to ask how else babies and puppies are the same?
Better than a medicinal tonic, watching them play helps me forget my woes and worries so lost am I in their joyful spirit.
Without any sense of self-consciousness, they play for the sheer fun of it.
And I suspect the person who wrote the following poem was inspired to write the piece after watching babies and puppies at play.
‘Dance as though no one is watching you.
Love as though you have never been hurt before,
Sing as though no one can hear you,
Live as though heaven is on earth.’
Until next time, Jo
