Pink, orange, yellow, and red: the sails stand out against the deep emerald green of the sea.

This way and that, the sails move as the class of eight learn to wind surf.

Squeals of laughter reach the shore.

Walking along the promenade I stop to watch one swimsuit-clad student followed by another lose their balance and fall into the sea.

More squeals are heard, but this time from the chill of water against skin.

After a cold winter and early spring: sunshine, blue sky, sparkling sea, and warmer weather beckon people to enjoy the great outdoors.
